2 safety recalls, most serious first
1. Wheels / tires
What's wrong, in plain English: A wheel or tire can fail while driving. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor battery may fail prematurely and cause the sensor to become inoperative. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 138, "Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems."
What could happen: Inoperative TPMS sensors will not alert the driver to low tire pressure. In addition, a TPMS warning light that is already illuminated from a failed battery sensor will mask an actual tire pressure failure issue. Either of these scenarios can result in tire failure and increase the risk of a cras…
The fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the TPMS sensors, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 2, 2022. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is Z68.
What to do
- Check whether your car is affected: enter your 17-digit VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls. A recall covers specific VINs, not every 2022 300.
- Book a repair at any authorized Chrysler dealer. Quote NHTSA campaign 22V504000 (manufacturer code Z68).
- The repair is free. By US law, safety recall repairs cost the owner nothing, no matter the car's age or mileage.
- Manufacturer hotline: 1-800-853-1403.
- Buying this car used? Ask the seller for proof the recall was completed, or run the VIN yourself before paying.

I got into a car accident in 08/28/25 @8:30pm and on impact I was going about 50-55mph and not a single one of my air bags came out. I also know that there are no recalls on my vehicle for air bags.

Just had this problem on my 2019 Chrysler 300. Recall came years after I had it and after I sold it. I got lucky and found out and got a reimbursement for the repair. Recall issued for "faulty Diode on Alternator". Very dangerous b/c the car will just cut out on you when you are trying to accelerate... like crossing a road etc. My 2019 I didn't have lo…

There is an obvious safety problem with the brakes. 2. The dealer, Chrysler/FCA/Stellantis are not able to repair this problem. The vehicle is available for inspection anytime. We purchased this vehicle brand…
