1 safety recall, most serious first
1. Equipment
What's wrong, in plain English: A part or accessory supplied with the vehicle. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Palomino trailers. The antenna wing may not be properly secured to the roof, allowing it to detach from the roof while moving.
What could happen: If the antenna detaches while moving, it can be a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will inspect, repair or replace the antenna, free of charge. The recall began November 23, 2020. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-269-432-3271. Forest River's number for this recall is 400-1243.
What to do
- Check whether your car is affected: enter your 17-digit VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls. A recall covers specific VINs, not every 2021 PALOMINO.
- Book a repair at any authorized Forest River dealer. Quote NHTSA campaign 20V656000 (manufacturer code 400-1243).
- The repair is free. By US law, safety recall repairs cost the owner nothing, no matter the car's age or mileage.
- Manufacturer hotline: 1-269-432-3271.
- Buying this car used? Ask the seller for proof the recall was completed, or run the VIN yourself before paying.

This same antenna defect is the subject of a recall on Keystone trailers. The problem is clearly broader and should include the antenna itself, whatever trailer/rig…
