What's wrong, in plain English: Body panels, frame, doors, hood, trunk or latches. Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain Honda Genuine Accessory Centerstand Kits, part number 08M70-MJP-G50, sold for possible installation on 2016-2018 Africa Twin motorcycles. The circlip can break allowing the centerstand to detach.
What could happen: If the centerstand detaches while moving, it can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash. If the centerstand detaches while the motorcycle is parked on the centerstand, the motorcycle can fall over, increasing the risk of injury.
The fix: Honda will notify all registered owners of 2016-2018 Honda Africa Twins advising them that if they purchased the affected centerstand kit, not to use it and to take the motorcycle to a dealer. 90/90/21 Tire tread began to separate. This fell under Continental recall. Continental will not issue my reimbursement. Tire is beginning to crack around treads. Production week 1221. I have contacted Continental, and they are informing me I need to remove my tire and cut a hole in it for the warranty to be honored. This motorcycle is my means of transportation, and I cannot remove it and cut a hole until I receive a replacement.

IT IS A 6 SPEED. I DOWN SHIFTED TO 4TH UP SHIFTED TO 5TH GAVE IT GAS TO PICK UP SPEED AND IT WENT BACK DOWN TO 4TH BY ITS SELF. I WAS IN MOTION NOT MAKING A TURN .THE OTHER 2 TIMES I WAS IN BUMPER TO BUMPER TRAFFIC .
