1. Electrical system

What's wrong, in plain English: Wiring, modules, batteries. Short circuits can cause stalls or fires. Due to a software error, the instrument panel display may fail. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Controls and Displays."

What could happen: An instrument panel display that fails to show critical safety information, such as the speedometer or warning lights, increases the risk of a crash.

The fix: The instrument panel display software will be updated over-the-air (OTA) or by a dealer, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 24, 2026. Owners may contact Hyundai's customer service at 855-371-9460. Hyundai's number for this recall is 293. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this…

What's wrong, in plain English: Seat frames, adjusters or child-seat anchors. The second and third row power seats may fail to detect a person. The seat may continue to move after contacting a person during powered seat functions, such as one-touch tilt-and-slide or automatic power fold-and-stow.

"The vehicle is exhibiting a refueling safety defect due to EVAP venting failure. This is a known issue on Hyundai hybrid platforms. The dealership only tries to duplicate the issue and as it is intermittent has not been able to duplicate. I have a brand new vehicle that leaves me stranded at the pump every third or fourth time trying to refuel.

10/04/2026 · Unknown Or Other
Windshield cracking spontaneously. Starting at the bottom. Car parked in garage. Not caused by any impact.

09/30/2026 · Seat belts
The seatback in my third row was reclined and failed to return to an upright position when attempted to be folded. Additionally, I observed that the belt buckle was damaged, which resulted in a cut wire within the buckle mechanism. Safety concern: It is strictly prohibited to permit any individual to occupy the third row. The vehicle remains under the cus…

I was on the highway and I hit the Cruise Control to engage “smart adaptive cruise control.” I received a warning light that said “Conditions for smart cruise control not met.” The car immediately began to decelerate. I could see that the light for the cruise control was still on. I hit the cruise control button again to turn it off- and it kept giving the…

While driving my 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid, the vehicle has repeatedly applied the brakes suddenly and without warning, especially approaching a specific overpass on my normal route and is fully repeatable. This only happens in the curb lane; the middle and passing lanes are fine. There is no forward collision warning, no detected obstacle, and no driver…
