Consequence: A rearview camera image that does not display decreases the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash. Additionally, a center brake light that fails to illuminate can fail to indicate to other drivers that the vehicle is slowing down, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers replaced the harness for the center brake light and rearview camera and/or the spare tire carrier/harness assembly, as necessary, free of charge. All vehicles were repaired by January 15, 2024. Owner notification letters were mailed September 26, 2024. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US, LLC's number for this recall is 77B.

What to do
- Park outside, away from houses, garages and other cars — there is a fire risk even when the vehicle is off.
- Check whether your car is affected: enter your 17-digit VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls. A recall covers specific VINs, not every 2022 WRANGLER UNLIMITED PHEV.
- Book a repair at any authorized Jeep dealer. Quote NHTSA campaign 25V741000 (manufacturer code 68C).
- The repair is free. By US law, safety recall repairs cost the owner nothing, no matter the car's age or mileage.
- Buying this car used? Ask the seller for proof the recall was completed, or run the VIN yourself before paying.

The check engine light was on and it said to service the battery charging components. When driving in hybrid mode it doesn’t switch to use the battery. When I was trying to pull off after stopping, the jeep hesitated and would not move and then all of a sudden jerked and took off almost making me crash and people crash into me.

I own a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4xe. My vehicle underwent Recall 68C and related high-voltage battery evaluation/software work. The high-voltage battery was later replaced by Jeep under warranty.
