What's wrong, in plain English: Body panels, frame, doors, hood, trunk or latches. The affected vehicles may have been manufactured with a roof headliner that does not provide the proper occupant protection in the event of a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 201, " Occupant Protection in Interior Impact."
What could happen: If the vehicles are equipped with a headliner that does not meet the impact requirements, there is an increased risk of occupantl injury in the event of a crash.
The fix: Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will replace the headliner, free of charge. The recall began on June 22, 2015. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331.

- Check whether your car is affected: enter your 17-digit VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls. A recall covers specific VINs, not every 2013 YARIS.

Component: STRUCTURE
Summary: Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain model year 2012-2015 Yaris vehicles manufactured August 31, 2011, to February 9, 2015, and sold or registered in Puerto Rico. The affected vehicles may have been manufactured with a roof headliner that does not provide the proper occupant protection in the event of a crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 201, " Occupant Protection in Interior Impact."

The single blade windshield wiper was hitting below the windshield and then it completely stopped working today. I have made an appointment to get it serviced. It is also very hard to find sub blades for this and can only purchase 26 inch regular blades.

SOMETIMES WOBBLES ON THE ROAD. WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLY IN A QUICK STOP, IT FEELS LIKE IT WILL NOT STOP. IT MAKES A NOISE. BRAKES WERE INSPECTED BUT COULD NOT FIND AN ANSWER. HAPPEN WHILE IN MONTION ONCE IT REACH BEYOND THE 20 MILES. IT HAPPENS FREQUENTLY.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 TOYOTA YARIS. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THREE DEER JUMPED IN FRONT OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE STRUCK THE DEER AND THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2013 TOYOTA YARIS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR DOOR SEALANT WAS DEFECTIVE AND CAUSED WATER TO PENETRATE THE REAR SEATS WHEN IT RAINED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO DEALER TO HAVE AN INSPECTION PERFORMED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 11,000.
