2 safety recalls, most serious first
1. Electrical system
What's wrong, in plain English: Wiring, modules, batteries. Short circuits can cause stalls or fires. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Campsite Reserve travel trailers. The solar controller may be wired incorrectly without over current circuit protection.
What could happen: Wiring without circuit protection may become damaged and short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.
The fix: Dealers will rewire the solar controller power wire, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 15, 2025. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-260-499-2100. Forest River's number for this recall is 99-1926.
What to do
- Check whether your car is affected: enter your 17-digit VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls. A recall covers specific VINs, not every 2025 CAMPSITE RESERVE.

- The repair is free. By US law, safety recall repairs cost the owner nothing, no matter the car's age or mileage.
