What's wrong, in plain English: Body panels, frame, doors, hood, trunk or latches. The pivot bolts for the roof rack crossbars may not have been tightened properly, allowing them to detach.
What could happen: Detached roof rack crossbars can create a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
The fix: Dealers will replace the roof rack crossbar pivot bolts, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed October 8, 2026. Component: STRUCTURE:BODY:ROOF AND PILLARS
Summary: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Jeep Wagoneer, 2022-2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, 2023-2025 Jeep Wagoneer L, and 2023-2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer L vehicles. The pivot bolts for the roof rack crossbars may not have been tightened properly, allowing them to detach.

Instrument panel dash frozen. instrument dash panel frozen at the screen where it says start/stop press brake to turn the vehicle on, we can’t see how fast we’re going when driving. This has occurred on multiple occasions. We’ve taken it to a Jeep dealership. Who reset the PCM but it does not resolve the issue.

When driving my vehicle suddenly shuts off the engine and puts the vehicle into park. This has happened multiple times now and everything shuts down, power steering, etc goes out and I’m afraid it will cause a serious accident.This seems very dangerous.
