1 safety recall, most serious first
1. Airbags
What's wrong, in plain English: The airbag system — the part that is supposed to protect you in a crash. Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2021-2023 911 Turbo S, 2022 911 Turbo, 2022-2023 911 GT3 Touring, 911 GT3, 911 Carrera 4 GTS, 2022-2024 911 Carrera GTS, 2023 911 GT3 RS, 911 Dakar, and 2024 911 Carrera T vehicles equipped with optional full bucket seats. The seat-mounted air bags may deploy unnecessarily during a crash.
What could happen: Air bags that deploy unnecessarily can increase the risk of injury.
The fix: Dealers will reprogram the air bag control unit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 11, 2023. Owners may contact Porsche's customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is APB3.
What to do
- Check whether your car is affected: enter your 17-digit VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls. A recall covers specific VINs, not every 2022 911 TURBO S.
- Book a repair at any authorized Porsche dealer. Quote NHTSA campaign 23V715000 (manufacturer code APB3).
- The repair is free. By US law, safety recall repairs cost the owner nothing, no matter the car's age or mileage.
- Manufacturer hotline: 1-800-767-7243.
- Buying this car used? Ask the seller for proof the recall was completed, or run the VIN yourself before paying.

A faulty fuel line above the engine needed to be replaced. The fuel line leaked enough to pool on top of the engine. I took the car to Porsche Irvine, they fixed it under warranty and mentioned that this was not unusual and they have seen this before in MY2022 Porsche 911 cars

Metallic Fuel line located on top of the engine suddenly started leaking. Previous time I drove the car there was no indication of a gasoline leak or odor. Rear Tailight internal stress cracks causing condensation moisture and dust buildup. Dealer says this is normal, vehicle is only 2 years old, 20k miles and under warranty. Seems like there is a seal issue with the moisture and dust due to the internal cracks of the taillights. I've read on Rennlist and seen on YouTube that this is occurring for others as w…

A leak in a high pressure fuel line was releasing gas on top of the motor. I smelled gas, and had vehicle towed to the dealership where I purchased the car. The dealership has confirmed the cause of the fuel leak and ordered the replacement fuel line. Since it’s a leak in this fuel line, NO check engine lights or other warnings flagged the problem. In m…
