3.0 Duramax engine failure at 5900 miles. Apparently is from the known thrust bearing issue. MIL, CEL, TCM illuminated. Failure occurred at 60 mph during rush hour traffic. Engine is being replaced under warranty. GM should issue recall for the affected lot of this engine.

Car was parked (in covered area) when back window shattered sometime after 12pm. Car had not been driven in two days and outdoor temperature started at 62 that morning so there were not extreme temperature changes as at the time the window shattered, it was approximately 75 degrees.
