Source: NHTSA, updated daily. Last checked 2026-10-18. Recalls apply to specific VINs — run your VIN to confirm.
3 safety recalls, most serious first
1. Equipment
What's wrong, in plain English: A part or accessory supplied with the vehicle. Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Sunstar, Vista, 2022-2023 Cambria, Inspire, 2023 Forza, 2024 Minnie Winnie, Spirit, 2024-2025 Porto and Vita motorhomes. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.
What could happen: A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.
The fix: Dealers will replace the cooktop control panel, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 5, 2024. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 184.
What to do
- Check whether your car is affected: enter your 17-digit VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls. A recall covers specific VINs, not every 2022 SUNSTAR.
- Book a repair at any authorized Winnebago dealer. Quote NHTSA campaign 24V295000 (manufacturer code 184).
- The repair is free. By US law, safety recall repairs cost the owner nothing, no matter the car's age or mileage.
- Manufacturer hotline: 1-641-585-6939.
- Buying this car used? Ask the seller for proof the recall was completed, or run the VIN yourself before paying.
